Golden Black Tea

This tea comes from the Yunnan province in southern China. This mountainous region is considered to be the birthplace of tea. This is a golden black tea from Mr.Li, a tea farmer with an incredible story. He started his journey as a tea picker for a major tea manufacturer. Over a decade he worked his way up the company. From tea picker, to warehouse manager, all the way up to quality manager. Then when the company was acquired, he saw an opportunity and purchased his own tea farm. This tea comes from that 71 acre farm. On his farm, Mr.Li focuses on local cultivars of black tea with exceptional quality. This tea has tasting notes of chocolate and caramel with an earthy finish similar to a sweet potato.
